| Oh, you poor thang, I feel for you! Just hang in there and do what your body needs to recover strength and health. The most powerful thing I've learned about exercise this time around is that rest days are as important as workout days. We have to listen to our bodies and follow our bodies' orders. During rest periods, our body is recharging, building that lean muscle mass, and gaining strength. I had to miss about 10 days of workouts after surgery in August, and when I restarted, there was no difference in my strength or endurance. This was true for weight training and cardio. I also have missed several days in a row due to scheduling conflicts since then, and again, not only no loss of strength or endurance, but in one case, I was suddenly able to do MORE than before! Take care of yourself. |

| thank you so much for your encouragement. It was exactly what I needed to hear. I felt like I was going to slide backwards and I so do not want to. Thanks again
