| let me just say that you will probably get so sick afterwards. Everyone has that overstuffed feeling on Holidays but yours will be magnified. I bloated real bad and had stomach pains just from introducing the whole wheat bread on rung 9 a few months ago. It was a shock to my system. Really think about this ok? have turkey topped with au jus, have cole slaw or brocolli slaw. A nice dinner side salad. Some baked squash topped with good stuff. Quiches with left over Christmas ham. Green bean casserole. PLAN PLAN PLAN and you can keep legal. TRY IT.

| The holidays are easy! There's so much good food to cook. If you cheat, you'll suffer. You'll be hurting your body and causing all sorts of cravings that will be difficult to get rid of. It may take you longer to get into ketosis again, and the weight may come off slower. |

| I "went off" for Christmas day two years ago. I got to start Christmas with wanting to vomit from the sugar high, to crashing half-way through the day and being so tired and brain-fuzzed I couldn't enjoy the holiday. Not a good idea...definetely not worth it. |

| And just to throw my 2 cents in....this is a way of eating for life without detours into old eating habits. You have to watch out for those detours of eating habits, they can lead you down a deep gorge of missery. Keep the faith that you CAN make it through the holidays, plan ahead, focus on your goals, and remember your worth the effort Cheers! |

| I'm sure it's not what you were hoping to hear, but everyone here is right. Odds are if you binge on carb laden foods you're gonna feel like crap. Tired, bloated, sick. It's really over rated. Now is the time for you to start surfing the recipe database, low carb recipe sites, and going through posts from 10 months ago (you can do that in the advanced search feature - example "Thanksgiving menu" , and you can expand the time line the search is in or narrow it down). Start trying a couple new recipes between now and the holidays to see if they're gonna work for you and my bet is you can put on a spread that'll rival anything you've done before. I know I can!

| I also plan on cheating on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I know my body well enough to know how it'll react. Get to know yhour own body then decide. I do allot of baking and cooking at the holidays. To me it's not a big deal. I just get back on it. I won't usually come on here to talk about a cheat cause these folks love to pull a guilt trip on you but just wanted to respond to you. Teri |

| Oh dear that time of year when conversations turn to "planned cheats". IMHO they really arent worth it. But I guess everyone needs to experience it for them selves to fully understand why not. I am not going to preach either way as I will no doubt get accused of being the low carb police. Good luck whatever you choose to do. Rich
