| From what I have seen of him on "Good Morning America," this guy is an amazing and very credible breath of fresh air. I fully intend on picking up his new book.

| This guy is awesome. Look up his article "What If It's All Been a Big Fat Lie" online. It was in the New York Times but you can read it online now for free. It blew my mind. |

| I've read it too and it is a fantastic book. It's not exactly light bedtime reading, it's even heavy going in parts but the content is so utterly fascinating and at the same time shocking that it's worth every ounce of effort. And it could not but make you mad as **** about how the so-called experts have pontificated about 'facts' when in reality there were none. I have now passed it on to a friend, but really what I'd really like to do is make it MANDATORY reading for all doctors, nutritionists and anyone who ever gives nutritional advice, and especially for anyone who is in a position which allows them to make recommendations about public health. At the very least it might make them question the conventional wisdom on nutrition and health and open their minds to the possibility that many of their incessently repeated 'facts' are utterly without foundation.

| Gary Taubes was interviewed on NPR's Science Friday last week. You can read about it and actually listen to the podcast here: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...oryId=15886898 Quote:
