| I've been at this for over two years, and I know I can never add back tree nuts, peanuts/peanut butter and will have to strictly limit cheese. It's just the way it is. I cannot have those things in the house and not over-consume them. I would rather be thin and healthy again. I have to make a choice. It's up to me. As someone said--I can have excuses or I can have results, but I can't have both. I'm even done feeling sorry for myself--most of the time. Sunny!

| I can't do the cheese either ........... I love it but even when I have a little it makes me lose nothing! Now that you know what to avoid you will see wonderful results! It's all a learning process .......... Heidi

| Now that you mention it, I never used to eat cheese before Atkins so no wonder it's thrown me for a loop! Took me this long to work it out, thanks to your posts! What would you all eat for an afternoon snack or quick power-booster if not some cheese or nuts?

| I don't snack often, but I also do deviled eggs or just boiled eggs with a smear of mayo. They both really fill me up. Pieces of turkey or chicken dipped in a mix of mayo & dijon mustard is also good. Too much protein will be converted to glucose. Fat is your friend. Sunny!
