grumble!

Yesterday I stopped for a coffee. I told her I wanted a shot of sugar free carmel syrup in it. Well she had boys there and got all giggly and flustered. She put a shot of expresso in my coffee by mistake (she had several drive up orders she was working on). She asked if I minded and I said no just make sure the syrup was sugar free. A while after drinking it I felt like my blood glucose was up. I tested it was a high. Now I did take my pill about 30 min. late but that shouldn't do it because it never has in years(esp on very lc). The coffee taste was so strong that I couldn't taste the sf caramel syrup anyways. I suspected she might have added regular since I had a spike in BG. I tested ketosis this morning. I don't have a trace! Darn silly girl so busy giggling at the teenage boys!!!!!!

That's terrible! I'm guessing you're diabetic since you have the equipment to test and everything. Hope you're in Ketosis tomorrow Be careful from now on with that coffee, that's dangerous in your case.

Yep Im am. I am going to call the owner at 10. I wouldn't be mean usually but the last time I was in the drive thru it took her 2 times to give me plain black coffee.
