Medicine question???

I was curious if anyone knew if pain pills like Loratab could or would cause a stall in weight loss? I know the book says medicines like steroids, birth control, and other hormone pills would cause stalls, but anyone know if pain medication does?

I know the side effect of most pain medications is constipation. That in turn could stall your weight loss.

I havent had that problem yet. Would constipation be the only thing that would be related to pain pills and cause you to stall?

It copuld possibly be the lactose in the hydrocodone tablets, not alot in each tablet but if you take multiple tablets per day it could add up.

I googled for side effects and found no mention of weight gain but many other nasty possibilities from overuse

i have heard that Anti-inflammatories like Ibuprofen ( neurofen) can make you retain water while it is in your system. I Havent heard anything about other painkillers though
