Default these stubborn pounds.....

a few days ago, after the bachelor party, i had reported that i was up only 1.5 pounds.....i thought great!!!!

well, maybe its that i just get on the scale too often but.....its still hasnt moved from that mark

still 1.5 up from my current, recent low......maybe its just gonna take a few days. i can wait it out in the best, most compliant possible way LOL

Chris,

I've been reading you posts over the past few weeks. And when I saw your posts about the bachelor party I knew you were in for something like this. Trust me, I have lots of experience with exactly that issue. I have spent the last two years eating right for a week or so then eating whatever for a couple of days, my weight maintained or gained, but never went down. And so here I sit two years (or so) later and up almost to my high weight, undoing the first 18 months of hard work I did.

Many people said don't cheat (enough so that I chose not to chime in), but some lessons have to be learned for yourself. But please learn from this and don't let it lead to what I did for the last two years. Your working to hard (I can tell from your posts) to be satisfied with anything but success.

Best of luck.

jim.....

thanks for the kind and truthful post. i am not losing focus at all......i have indulged for occassions but not because i planned a 'cheat day' or gave in to temptation. i do know that i am going to have to develop better strategies to stay within these guidelines during such occassions, and i will

i am somewhat worried about this holiday season and the temptation of such cookies and or desserts that are often customarily served during thanksgiving and/or xmas. but the eating on those days is quite healthful and i dont think getting through them, as meals, will be difficult. eggnog....heck i just love it, but i am sure it is somewhat more than eggs LOL.....so i will stay away from that. and i never really was much of a drinker anyway....so that wont be a problem either.

i am doing this...no doubt. thank you for reading my posts and taking the time to offer your knowledge and experience.

i am really very happy that i came upon this site

now, if anyone had read my previous posts they will know that....once i finish this post i will have 8 pushups to do, immediately upon submission!!
