| I've worked too hard to get to where I'm at. NO FOOD is worth gaining the weight back. I enjoy turkey and vegetables (legal) so I really won't be missing anything. If I happen to crave a dessert I'll just got to Linda's site (www.genaw.com/lowcarb) and whip up something delicious and legal.

| My plan is to stay strong ............. I am working up a good pile of legal things I survived through Thanksgiving by eating legal all though I know I ate way to much .......... I crashed my diet this past weekend and felt so sick that I'm pretty sure I won't be doing that again! |

| I'm feeling pretty good about the holidays - I don't think I'll cave. The tough thing for me is going to be the fact that we're tearing apart our kitchen through the holidays. We'll keep the fridge stocked, but all the other food will be in boxes. Of course, most of the food I eat is kept in the fridge . With the kitchen gutted, I can't bake this year - so that's good! I'm a little worried about trips to fast-food joints for easy dinners... but they do serve salads so I should be okay! And Xmas dinner? We're going out to a steak house restaurant... so no problems!Good luck everyone!! Vickie |

| I am going home for Christmas, I dont think anybody will notice that I have lost some weight. I mean it is only 9 pounds according to the scale today. I feel great and I have so much more energy. I will stick to the meats and cheese and veggies. I have been drinking perier and I love it. I just keep imagining myself next Christmas and what a big differance there will be. Happy Holidays everyone!

| I will definately stick to the plan. Tonight I have a christmas dinner to go to and I will only eat legal foods... Bad choices are what got me into this position in the first place. I am so sick of hiding from old friends because I am too ashamed of the way I look. I am ready to reclaim my position in my family history... ie photos. I am going to be healthier and fit to keep up with my children and I will be the best wife I can possibly be. No craving will take that away from me! Sandy... please try your hardest to not cave. Look at the weight you have already lost. You can do this girl. Look over some of your happy posts to remember the joy you felt as you were losing the weight. You have lost over 30 lbs. I would love to be there now... You have done so much hard work . You can not give into your old habits.

| I will be 100% legal! There's no reason NOT to be. There are so many delicious legal foods that can be made, check out Linda's site if you don't believe me. My only problem is over-eating the legal ones. I'm going to drink lots of water and fill my plate with veggies first, THEN eat the meats and cheeses and nuts and LC desserts.

Christmas Day, the family has a potluck dinner. The usual stuff is turkey, ham, sometimes a roast beef, veggies, the starchy sides, and desserts. I eat the stuff I know is legal---the meat. I bring legal side dishes with me, like steammed broccoli or asparagus with hollandaise sauce. One year I brought a bowl of faux cauliflower mashed potatoes. I also bring a cheese platter, so I have something to nibble on. Starchy sides and desserts, I avoid---all I have to do is just remember it was eating that junk that got me fat in the first place! Plus watching all my obese relatives scarf them down is a good deterrent too.
