| You should feed your body. If you starve it, then when you do take food in, it will store it because it thinks you will not feed it again for a long time. It is good to have breakfast, 2 hr ltr have a small snack, then lunch, 2 hr ltr another small snack, dinner, etc. this way your body will not store because it knows you are feeding it all the time. Plus another benefit of eating 5-6 small meals is, it speeds up the metabolism.

| Hi albs, I would definitely eat something even if its a snack, that way your body gets in the habit of knowing you will feed it even if you aren't hungry, and will not horde fat to feed your bod. Dr. A said never go more than 6 hours without eating, I usually try to eat something every 4-6 no matter if i am hungry or not.

| You don't want your blood sugar to crash. Eat something small. Boiled egg, or maybe some celery with cream cheese.

| Thanks everyone. I ate a half a chicken breast a bit of mayo and three olives. I don't feel stuffed and I feel good. |

| I did that this weekend - wasn't hungry so I skipped lunch (plus we were out and I didn't want to eat anything bad)... unfortunately I am paying for it now -- my body is storing everything I am eating and now gaining weight back |

| Dr. Atkins states not to go more than 6 waking hours without eating something from the last time you ate. If your not hungry nibble till you leave and use the leftovers of lunch for a snack befor dinner. You need to get your carbs in that your allotted. Quote:
