| It's just the only "diet" I've ever been able to stick to, knowing that one cheat spoils my whole week as i try and get back in to ketosis is a real booster for staying on track... Also the way it makes me feel, energetic, fresh, great skin, healthy looking hair, not bloated, minimises PMS, need i go on?

| Yep as you guys said: - the fact a some foods are just off limits in terms of messing things up - the food is really tasty, fats are a great ingredient, easy to cook with - no hunger - I think some people a really sensitive to carbs, so this deals with that It's fab! I have been on this plan for a year and half, other diets have tended to last less than a month because I'm so hungry |

| I like it because I hate feeling hungry, and I'm not hungry with this WOE. Plus, I absolutely hate struggling with temptations, my hubby loves his junk food, and it was always a daily battle to fight the urge to tear into the cookies or chips and just start munching, but now it doesn't even bother me. I don't give any of the junk food I encounter a second look, and it's a relief to me. I've also always been a fatty food lover, more so than a sugar freak. Although I like pasta and bread, it was so hard to give up butter, sour cream, cheese, ranch dressing, steak, bacon, the whole egg not just the whites, and on and on. I'd much rather have a big juicy steak than pasta any day. Plus I don't want to ever cheat, because unlike calories, I can't just make-up my mistakes at a later date. You've got to be in it for the long haul, or pay later on the scale. It keeps me accountable. |

| Not being hungry is a huge reason Atkins fits me so well. It's also really nice not to have to measure/weigh every bit of everything I put in my mouth; that kind of diet makes me obsess more about food, not less! Most of all, I feel so much better eating this way than when I fall off the wagon and have all the instant-gratification-regret-it-later foods. |

| All excellent answers! I was kind of afraid to come into the thread at first, I was afraid it was an Atkins attack!
