Check out the book "loose your mummy tummy". It is all about getting your abs flat again after pregnancy. It has some great (and uncommon) exercises to flatten your belly. I have 60 pounds to loose and I'm dealing with the same thigs that you wrote about. I think that the exercises in this book will help a lot. Good luck!

Oh I am glad you posted this. I have never had a big problem with my stomach... even being overweight. Since I had my daughter my stomach sounds just like yours. My pants are getting soo loose in my thighs and back area, but my stomach feels just as tight. I figured I would just have to have a tommy tuck when I am all done having kids, and hopefully thats not for a long time so I want to look good in the mean time. I will have to check out that book. Thanks

I feel your pain!! I too have had 3 babies - 2 of which were huge! I only weigh 114 (started at 133 - but high after pregnancy was around 170) right now, my stomach is flat, abs are in there, I can feel them, it's the "chicken skin" that is the problem and I think the only way I am going to get rid of it is to have a tummy tuck. Working your abs is great, and losing fat will help with the paunch, but nothing helps the loose crepe paper skin. I have talked to a doctor but I'm afraid that I would die - so for now, I'm putting it off - I'm a wuss

The book is available on Amazon. When you search for it remember it's spelled "Mummy" not "Mommy". The exercises are great...the way it is written is a little goofy but I know that the author (a former physical therapist) has helped a lot models and acresses get back in shape. She also wrote a book about exercise during pregancy for any of you planning more little ones.

| My "tummy" is the last part of my body that the fat is sticking to. I am sure everyone has different areas but for me its my tummy that I am most disappointed in. Eventually, in time it will go I am sure, but its going to be a slow burner.

When I lost my weight the first time a few years ago, I worked out daily, did alot of ab work, as well as cardio & weights, and my stomach & butt were decreased drastically, even my thighs. Most of my weight gain went right to those areas. One of the exercise programs I did, and found it to be very successful for me is Slim in 6. It did wonders for me in 6 weeks, and I re-started it 1 week ago. So excercise & this WOE, is the key for success.
