Message to all board members: the way I feel about all of you!

Hello my fellow Atkineers!

I'm only 26, but there are tons of things that I've been through in my life, that others will never get a chance to experience. There are also tons of things that I've yet to experience. If nothing else, I've learned to stay prayerful, and thankful for every new day I live to see. This WOE has helped the quality of my life in more ways than one--I refuse to take that for granted. I also know that motivation and encouragement are key when you make a lifestyle change such as this. We are all accomplishing what some others think of as impossible! We've taken it to another level and stuck with it. Anyone can suffer mishaps, and many do, including myself, but it is because we have each other to lean on during our weak moments that we have all come so far in such a short amount of time! We all share a common bond, due to the similar struggles that we've all endured or are currently enduring. I'm not really sure that I'd be so close to goal at 176.8 today, if I hadn't stumbled upon this site 3 years ago. I do know, that I thank God for all of you, your support, encouragement, and wisdom. I admire your strength, and I'm thrilled to be here sticking out with you all! I'm in this for the long haul, and I look forward to sitting back and watching as we all post GOAL one by one.

I just feel that it is extremely important that everyone here understands that we are all in this together--at times when we are losing and when we are not. It's so easy to give up without giving this WOE a fair chance. Just stick with it...the rewards ae amazing, the results are unbelieveable, and real you deserves to finally have a chance to shine!

I think that what you said is absolutely true! It takes a lot of time to do this correctly and allow yourself time to figure out what works for you: what your body tolerates and what it doesn't. Not everyone is the same. It's so wonderful to see eachother blossom and grow as we become our real selves huh? that's so cool.

Thanks so much for saying what we all experience here in the ADBB. I too am very thankful for all of you, Tom and Dr. Atkins.

You are part of our family. When you join the ADBB you not only get a weight loss support group, you find friends that don't judge you, don't jeopardize you or mistreat you. We are a team of friends working together to help one another make our goals in life and weight.
