| I'm not sure where you are with Atkins, but at least in Induction and OWL (I didn't read further yet) honey it's not allowed.

| Honey would be allowed when sugar is ...... and there is no sugar allowed at any of the weight loss phases of Atkins and it's something you need continued caution about on maintenance (most people at maintenace do not eat any sugar, and therefore no honey). Honey is primarily sugar and in a form that is rapidly digested. As far as its nutritional content from a weight loss point of view is concerned, it is even more concentrated in sugar than white table sugar and is an absolute no-no.

| Stevia was the best thing that I found a few years ago. I use nothing else. I use KAL liquid stevia for my tea (never have drunk coffee) and the pure stevia powder for other cooking. |

| I agree... go the stevia route if you're concerned about artificial sweetners; though I have to say, I'm not a great fan of it.
