| When I caught the flu a month ago or so I had tomato soup w/ basil. I did buy store bought kind (campbells select I believe). It has like 18g of carbs in it which is not happy but I needed something in my system and it was very filling |

| Keep it up with the broth and remember that just about anything is blendable to make it easier to go down! If you are looking for bland how about some chicken breast in a crock pot prepared without any herbs or flavours or anything? Hope you feel better soon! It's so hard to be sick! You can do this! |

| Chicken broth with some chicken in it, perhaps? boil some veggies (cauliflower, broccoli, etc) in the chicken broth and then blend it together. That would probably be best. I wouldn't worry too much about not eating. Just make sure that you have plenty of fluids. The chicken/beef stock will help with that.

| When I am feeling like that I always have a chicken stock cube in a mug of hot water - it has a lot of salt and is easy to digest. Get well soon xx |

| I was just going to say boil some chicken. I've never tried it but I bet it would be pretty good with some chunks of tofu in it and the tofu would soak up the chicken flavor. It works for miso soup! That would give you some protein and it is easy on your stomach. Don't worry about not getting enough calories. Your body will understand due to illness. As long as you don't eat anything off plan, you will for sure be fine. I hope you get to feeling better soon. |

| Sometimes when your sick, nothing sounds good. I had a stomach thing a month or so ago & I took some onion soup mix, you know the powdered kind & dropped a few chicken tenders in it & just let it simmer on the stove awhile, as low maintenance as I could think of. It went down nice & easy. If you are feeling some grumbling in your tummy try a spoonful of cream cheese, it settled the acid in my stomach. I know a lot of people can't do any dairy but it helped me. Remember the old tried & true 7 up trick too. Just do diet. Sugar free jello.

| I just got over this flu--it sucked. I made a big pot of chili in a crockpot to get a little bit of veggies and was able to keep it down. |

| Aww... Shari I am so sorry you feel so bad! Did the doctor give you anything? If you are determined to stay on plan (and GOOD FOR YOU ~ alot of people wouldn't) then keep up with the bullion soups... I know Spazzy mentioned the tomatoe soup - but just remember if you are like me... don't add milk or cream to it as with the fever it will curdle in your stomach and cause you other problems. How about some faux potatoes with the mashed cauli - maybe DH could make it for you when he gets home so you have something a little solid in your stomach.. or some sugar free jello (I think I read somewhere on here there is an acceptable kind) Hope you feel better soon |
