| coffee's a major issue for me and I've given h&h and splenda a lot of thought...I've been drinking two medium cups a day with half a splenda and four tablespoons of h/h...all told they add up to about six grams carbs for both cups and it hasn't shut me down yet...although I haven't weighed in yet(tomorrow's the big day ) I Know from measurements that I'm down substantially...I think, as with other tweaks, it's entirely subjective, and that if your metabolism isn't highly resistant you should be ok...heavy cream would save two grams a day and if it were available at the places I get my coffee(I drive a limousine so I'm all around town here) I'd use that...but the h&h seems to be ok... good luck Mitch |

| I drink 1-3 cups/day and I use 1 half and half..i dont think it's legal for induction though...but I don't think my coffee has stalled me. |

| I've used half & half the entire time I've been on Atkins (both times) and so far, so good. I even used it when I was maintaining. I just like the taste. If cream is available in coffee shops, I use that, because it tastes even better. Go with what tastes good to you....

| I have used both half and half and just regular whipping cream. I usually have about two to three cups of java in the morning. Since I don't sweeten it, the cream or half n half is all I have to cut it a bit. ( I brew it stroooong!! ) Hasn't been an issue for me so far. Started mid-January, lost 27 lbs. so far. I have noticed an issue when I try any of the supposed low carb dairy drinks. There is one out that is supposed to be a low carb chocolate milk. It stalls me big time. Catch you later. |

| You are not suppose to use half and half until OWL 2 (Dairy). I am past that rung and will use it if nothing else is available but I prefer whipping cream. |
