| I read it in the New York Times and thought it was very interesting. Even more reason to do Atkins, which attacks belly fat with a vengance.

| The more I read the more dangerous I realise so much excess fat around your belly really is. It's been linked to all kinds of health problems! Now as I am getting healthy I see how very unhealthyI have been. It is amazing how easy it is to just close your eyes to it! |

| This is one of the reasons that I have stuck with Atkins. My Dad, Grandfather and Aunt all have Alzheimer's. They were/are overweight. I will do anything I can to starve off this horrible disease. I don't believe that I can put it off entirely, with my family's genetic predisposition to it, but I don't want to be diagnosed with it when I'm only 65, like my Dad. That's way too young to be in the state he's in. It's a horrible, awful disease.
