| Unfortunately, most carbohydrates are water soluble so yes you would have a higher carb count. Much like pasta would impart its starch to the water it's boiled in, so too will the potatoes impart their starch. As for exactly how much, it's quite hard to say as it depends on how many potatoes you put in etc... ~Far la bella figura!

| Great! I just made a huge pork roast with potatoes and carrots. I guess I wont be eating anymore of it. |

| Carbs do leak, but I think (correct me if I'm wrong anyone) the leakage is minimal. Just don't have lashings of sauce if you've made stew with lots of carby ingredients, or, if still in induction scrape off the sauce and err on the side of caution. Nice tip about the radishes Spazzy. I must try that!
