| Hey Titian, Thanks for that story and the link. It is good it's low carb, but I'd need me more veggies and fat than that! Amazing story though, they all were. Haven't see you for a while - how are things? |

| I think that it is wonderful that shw lost the weight, but t seems like she went more low fat toward the end... Breakfast: Meal shake or a low-fat yogurt and banana Lunch: Mixed green salad with chicken, blue cheese and low-fat dressing on the side Dinner: Grilled chicken, asparagus, mixed green salad and low-fat dressing on side Snacks: Nuts or a Kashi granola bar |

| Once you get to a certain point, some people do need to reduce calories to keep losing weight which you can do either by reducing portion size or reducing calorie density (ie - selecting some lower fat things). I don't know if she was doing Atkins or not, but she was the first one I have seen that even hinted at low carb. |

| ^ i'm glad to hear that. the closer i get to my goal weight, the more stalling issues i've been having. choosing things like light mayo instead of full-fat mayo because of fewer calories has been particularly useful, especially since i'm still able to keep my carbohydrate intake at a reasonable level. i've also been choosing leaner meats / poultry and that REALLY fixed a massive stall i had for almost two months solid. that said, it does seem like she's not really following a low carbohydrate diet - or at least not atkins. aside from the various low fat items, granola seems so heavily un-atkins to me... but hey, i'm no professional.
