| Current weight is 182 and my height is 5 foot 5 inches. I try not to let my carbs get above 20 ever. Well, sometimes I get on this sweet red pepper binge and plan all bets are OFF !

| I'm one of the more lucky ones. My metabolism was not in the least bit resistant during the weight loss phases and I have to make sure I eat at least 100 grams of carbs per day to avoid losing more weight. However, I find that to be a struggle at times...maintenance is definitely a whole new challenge over losing the initial weight. ~Far la bella figura!

| It used to be that my weight loss would stall at around 60 grams of net carbs a day. When I went back to a corporate job around 2 years ago, I started gaining weight even as I kept my carb intake at maintenance levels. Now, I estimate I can take up to 35 net carbs a day before I start gaining. I figure the main reason for the drop is because I don't get to work out as much as I used to.

| My last go round on Atkins, I had up to 60 carbs a day without gain....that isn't an accurate number however, probably vlose. I never counted coffee and cream (and I drink A LOT of coffee) but I also didn't subtract fiber. I'm now on OWL, 5'7", 232 pounds and losing on an average of 45 net carbs.I haven't gone over 53, but only for one day here and there, so I don't know if I did it daily it would be my limit. |

| I exercise at least five days (half an hour) a week, plus walk the doggies daily (half an hour min). I'm 5'4" and about 123 lbs. I eat on average between 40-55 carbs per day and am able to maintain. If I take out my evening glass of wine, I lose at this level, so I could conceivably eat a little higher.

| My maintenance level seems to range between 90-110 grams per day - and I keep my foods and menu as low on the glycemic index as possible, frankly, so I can eat more!

| At 6'2" 232 pounds, with my exercise consistantly where I want it to be, I can maintain at 84 carbs.
