| You might be surprised! Many of us find that after a few weeks of getting that 8 x 8 fluid ounces plus 8 more for every 25 pounds we hope to lose in each day that we actually like and want to drink it! Dr atkins did say that teas etc were not to be counted as part of our water intake ![]() In the 'Tips' section at the end of Chapter 11 Quote:

| Hi there! I do not like water either, but i have been drinking 2-3 litres a day, as i know how important it is on this plan. I cannot drink it at room temprature, so i get a 1litre bottle mineral water, stick it in the freezer, take it out bout 2-3hours later full of ice and sip it throughout the day, gulping it down would make me feel sick. I fim if i am watching tv and drinking it, it is gone before i know it also. Good luck with your weight loss Daniellexx |

| Hi, I like water, and it seems that the more I drink, the more I want , or need , to drink. But I have friends who don't like it. One of them has a lovely glass that she drinks hers out of that makes it more enjoyable for her,and another buys her water in 8 oz bottles so that it does not seem overwhelming to her. Hope it helps you to get it in. |

| I'm with asoprano1432, the more I drink water...the more I want to drink. For a change I buy a few bottles of Pellegrino. I put it in a water glass with crushed iced and a squeeze of lemon. It reminds me of Sprite without all the sugar. Very refreshing. |
