| Hello Chick, I am in an extended induction, so am getting all my veg from salads. Yes, you are right, perhaps I need something a bit more substantial like spinach or broccoli. I have a good greengrocer locally (and he is open on Sunday) so will run off and get some spinach now. Thanks for the advice, glad to hear I am not the only one. Keetje |

| Hi... veggies have nothing to do with your stool colour at this point. As you have just started, your body is adapting to the about of fat you are intaking (which should be much more than on your previous eating plan/life style). This excess is merely jolting your system (you need a few weeks to adjust). Until this happens you will be going to the toilet and passing a lot of 'fats' which are a light yellowy/browny colour. This will go away in a few weeks. Eat dark roughage like broccoli and spinach to break it up and break down the fat during digestion. This is normal.

| Hello Dot, Thank you for this - I was starting to get a bit worried!! As the symptoms started about a week after I started Atkins I could pretty safely assume that it was something to do with the change in eating habits...all the same, I AM a bit of a worrier!
