| It is certainly possible. If you remember from the book, Dr. Atkins provided a case study of one of his female patients who had to stay at 20 grams for 2 years to get the weight off. However, this is a very rare occurrence and before you resign yourself to 20 grams of carbs I would post your menu in the proper forum as most people are just eating something they shouldn't be or not eating something they should be, which causes their weight loss to stop or slow down temporarily. ~Far la bella figura!

| I am not sure about the pounds/kg conversion, but from what I can see you have already lost in 6 weeks over a third of your total goal loss. So i am thinking you have very little to lose total. IF so, you can expect it to come off very slowly and the occassional upward fluctuation can be expected too due to variances in fluids, salt intake, etc. Also you said you just started exercising. As you continue excercising you will increase your metabloism and lose faster. Don't be surprised though if you are exercising hard or doing strength training, if you see another upward jump for a bit as muscle weighs more than fat. Keep it up, you will get there! |

| Converting your stats so USA members know them, you are 5ft 3 and a bit inches tall, SW137.8 / CW130 /GW115 and your BMI is about 22.9 As losetocruise suggested, as you have already lost 1/3 of your hoped-for weightloss you are not doing so badly ![]() Weightloss is never an even downward slide, and we all get weeks when we dont lose or even gain, it is just how the human body acts ![]() Needing to lose 22.5 in total you lost 4 pounds in the first 14 days, which I reckon would make your resistance to weightloss just a little higher than average according to the chart in DANDR Quote:
