| what all do you want to know? i'm your gal! yes the 6 wec will begin sign up on june 22. the actual start date for the #45 6 wec will begin on sunday, june 29.

| I guess I know nothing at all about it, how do you determine goals? Is it just personal? Anything you can tell me I guess. Is there a wt loss goal? Or just sticking to exercise plan? |

| I guess I know nothing at all about it, how do you determine goals? entirely up to you. the purpose of a challenge is that it be a challenge. if you know you can do 20 pushups a day, the challenge would be be to try to get 30 a day. if you know you can walk 1 mile a day, the challenge would be to walk 1 1/2 miles a day. thus, you continue to improve your distance and/or time for each challenge. Is it just personal? most times, yes, it is a personal goal. we are all different and at different levels for speed, time, distance, etc. so it would be very difficult to pace yourself against any other member [although some buddies do challenge each other within a particular challenge] Anything you can tell me I guess. Is there a wt loss goal? some challenges are set for weight loss. but to get there you must exercise, eat right and so on. but, the ultimate goal of the particular challenge would be weight loss. not all challenges are designed just for weight loss, though. Or just sticking to exercise plan? some are centered around the exercise itself. the pledging flight challenge, for instance, will have you climbing stairs and the challenge is to 1. get you use to climbing instead of taking the elevator 2. increase your stamina for climbing 3. challenge you to finish all climbs in a particular set thus earning the award for the challenge for the pushup challenge, you would 1. increase your arm strength 2. steadily increase your minute and/or amount 3. earn the award for making or exceeding your goal for the month some challenges combine several things such as the Improvement challenge that *Alexa* runs each month and the hula hoop and/or jump rope challenge. if you check the first post of any challenge, it will give you the particulars on what is expected. some are simple like just stating how many minutes or how many of whatever you will commit to doing for the month. some are more involved and require things to be done such as the 20/24 semi annual challenge.

| I'm so excited for the start of the new 6WEC! I've been off for two challenges but I'm going to be back now! Valleriek, you will love it!
