Unhappy Help!

I am having such a hard time. I have lost about 6 pounds and this is my 10th day of induction and I feel miserable. The first couple days were rough and then I started to feel pretty good. Now just these last few days I have been getting really bad headaches all day and I have the hardest time waking up in the mornings. I don't feel like I am getting sick so the only thing I can attribute it to is the diet. I don't want to give up but I feel so bad. I have no idea what to do.

Are you drinking your water? Eating your veggies?

If you are absolutely sticking to your Inductions (post a menu, it will help) you may be one of those people that need to go directly to the next rung. I would say you have nothing to lose by adding 5 more carbs of veggies if you feel this lousy.

Would an alcoholic say "just one sip"?

Hi Cheer,

Don't give up, you are on your way.
All the symptoms you describe, although crappy, are perfectly normal for induction and it means that you are on your way.
In induction we go into detox from the caffeine, sugar and carbs and our bodies react to this in a not so nice way but the fact that you are getting these symptoms means that it is working.

I have been through Induction twice so this most recent time I thought I was ready.(ha ha).
I got blinding (just kill me!) headaches, leg cramps so that I could not move, I had problems talking as my brain could not finish a sentence, I was so tired I could barely get out of a chair and the whole constipation thing!

So please know that what is happening is totally normal and will pass soon as long as you stay totally strict to the induction food.
I noticed that all of a sudden I had all this energy and I eat a lot less and I feel bouncy.

I am sorry you are in the induction blues but stick with it and you will come through the other side soon.

Fennela

Post your menues on the "Review My Menu" forum. Be sure to include EVERYTHING you are eating and drinking and be sure to include the amounts. Sometimes, folks make the mistake of eating nearly 0 net carbs hoping they will lose weight faster.....

Default Re: Help!

Headaches and such should have ended by the 3rd day at the most. Hang in there and attempt to rectify your problem. Stay focused and you'll do fine. God Bless, Joe
