| What rung of OWL were you at before the 'fall'? Just do induction level/choices of food till you are back in ketosis and any cravings have gone then get back to the OWL rung you were at. The other important thing to do is try and work out the reason why you gave in and ate off-plan, so you can work out a strategy for avoiding that pitfall next time it arises.

| Why start tomorrow? Forget day by day, this is meal by meal and choice by choice. So you hiccuped. Learn from it and eat on plan you next meal and one after that. Done let one learning experience trash your entire day. You might not even be out of ketosis, but if you take one hiccup as permission to trash the rest of the day by bed time you may be. If a person stops smoking and has a puff, do you think it is easier for them to say "oh well, I'll start right tomorrow" or to say, "oops, I had a puff. No more starting now"

| Remember to check you ketosis level about two hours after last eating for an accurate result. After fasting or long time without eating the levels shown are not your actual results. And if you do cheat don't fall into that I ruined the whole thing hole, the more you cheat the more you hurt yourself. Just jump right back in with both feet and keep on running with it, you will be back in ketosis in no time! Best of Luck! SueSue1212

| Low carb addict lets you have a cheat meal a day, which for us was just too much to handle. We much prefer the structrue of Atkins. But when I have to have something because I just can't think of anything else, I schedule it in and do the low carb addict for a day so it does not hurt my ketosis. So, if you had a cheat and had not eaten in hours and ate it within an hour total, and then did not eat again for several hours and both the other meals you ate were legal , you will be fine, but if you ate all afternoon and really had a carb fest, then just go back the next meal and do the best you can to not beat yourself up and you should be okay with just a little blip in your weight loss. It is not cheating once that causes the trouble it is, oh, I cheated for lunch so the day is ruined so might as well eat all I can and start back tomorrow, and then it is a bigger deal, and many times tomorrow is next week. I speak from massive experience !!! You have to get right back on next meal, I agree with the earlier post that said that, why wait ?? The more of a cheat you do, the harder to get back on. It is best to not cheat at all, of course, but we are all human and it happens despite our best efforts, so just do your best to do as little damage as possible and do not use excuses to make an all day binge !!
