| I really enjoy working out. So at least I'm not slacking in that. I think you're right Elsie. I'm sabotaging myself because I like how I look now. I'm really far off of my goal but I do see changes. I think I've been having a bad case of complacency. Lisa made a post a few days back regarding that. I think I should re-read that post and everyone's advice and try to fight through this. I mean if I feel sooo good at 180 (60 lbs. above where I want to be) then I can't imagine how good I'm going to feel when I do reach goal. I need to get it together... |

| LOL...hear that Bill...there I go again being right...gets annoying..HUH? Complacency...yes I read that thread. Funny thing isn't it? In a way, because it means you are happy with yourself...so how can that be bad, right? See what coming to the board can do? You've had us to come and talk to and work things out...and Treece could relate to you and in doing so helped kick Val in the butt to do her exercises...it is a good circle...

| Yup, Elsie's right, I was totally motivated by yall this evening!! Thanks!! Glad I checked in! Yeah, you have to watch that complacency, Irishmom!!! I know about that! And good attitude!!! Just imagine how 60 more pounds lost will feel!!!I was so excited to get back on my bike today, I had bf put a new comfy seat on it for me, and then I felt so bad that he didn't have a bike!! So we spontaneously jumped in the van and ran to Target, and he has a new yellow fancy suspension bike now, witha comfy seat too!! Hehe! He hasn't owned a bike since he was a kid! Now we can riding go with the kids. It will also be much easier on his knees than walking, he had a bad accident 10 years ago with a motorcycle, and walking too much has been an issue. So anyway, we know how to tear it up on a sat nite huh? Better than how we spent time last weekend anyway!! |

| LOL..Val... Cost of night on the town...3 pounds Cost of babysitter...$200 Cost of Val learning a lesson...PRICELESS Cori..wait until your two weeks are up. You will be more surprised by the bigger number. We lose a lot of people the second week because they expect to see a number like the first week. I remember your Dad's first and second weigh in...seems like just weeks ago....poor dog and cat!

| Hey Hey Bud's! ![]() Long, hard day today, but a good day. didn't get much excercise done on the machine's--but hauled 50 pound bags of sand all day into a hole to get ready for the concrete pour in the morning--Think that counts.. Warm welcome to a new Bud Hello Treece! You and Irish are human--beating yourself up only makes it worse..great thing about being human-- is that you can acknowledge your short falls and pick-up the pieces and start again. think about it. you can walk, or run, or get on a bike, or do the Jane Fonda work-out--no probs-- now-- STOP EATING---something you've done for as long as you can remember--yes your going to eat better, yes your going to achive well-being and all the benifits of this WOL. but it is a challenge--and we will stumble, we may fall..But use what is most human--Call for help! if the board can't respond fast enough, you still have this amazing little book that has been there and done that--use your resources! Elsie--When "your" right, "your right"---Hmmm thinking of a number between 1 and 10? no--wait--too easy--how do you feel about "Veggielover" in the 5th? or "thisguyisinsane" in the 7th? Val--good to hear from you! glad your back where you started! and you don't always have to walk..little variety maybe the answer? so chin up! hey--that's it chin-ups! (people still do those?)
