| Hey everyone, I'm going to just jump right in! Sounds like if ketosis isn't getting rid of your appetite just talk to Joe and what his favorite foods are....ahahahaha!!! But I kid, I kid...seriously, I'm just joking. Anyway, things are good today. I started week 2 of the c25k and it went well. I had a slip up on Saturday but I'm back on track. I made my mom's Quiche recipe yesterday and it's sooooooooo good! Tomorrow I hope to make Wooshie Pie! |

| Hi guys, stopping by to meet some new people. I haven't tried the oopsie rolls yet either. Are they hard to make? The thought of having a "hamburger bun" is exciting though. I love burgers. What's Whooshie Pie, IrishMom? Mind posting that quiche recipe too while you're at it? I'm always looking for new things to make. Tonight I think I 'm going to make some chocolate bark using stevia, coconut oil and cocoa powder. I got the recipe here: Chocolate 'bark' with coconut oil - Low Carb Friends I'm not on the nuts rung yet so I am leaving them out. I'm excited to have chocolate. Anyway, hope everyone is having a great day!

| I got the Wooshie Pie recipe from a fellow member. Thanks kmrsail! Wooshie Pie aka Hamburger Pie 2lbs of ground beef(lean) 1 package of cream cheese 2 tsp yellow mustard 2 tsp horseraddish garlic powder to taste salt and pepper to taste dehydrated onions to taste 1st combine cream cheese, mustard, and horseraddish, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and dehydrated onions in a mixing bowl. Smooth it all out so when its done it will be a creamy yellow almost like the consistancy of the yolk of deviled eggs. Put aside, and split beef in half. Make a large hamburger patty and put into a round cooking dish(or square if you dont have round). Sprinkle with some salt and pepper and spread cream cheese mixture over the hamburger patty and take the other half of beef and make into another patty. Put on top of the patty with the cream cheese mixture and pinch the sides closed sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 325 for 55 min or until well done. Slice like a pie and enjoy!" I leave out the onions and use 2/3 of the mixture in the patty and save 1/3 to brush on top about 10 min. before it's done. This can get a little messy, but I love the flavor. I also use more horseradish because I love the taste. You really do need to pinch the two patties together or all the filling will run out. Also, cooking time depends on how much you spread out the patty....I spread mine pretty thin so it's done in about 35-40 minutes instead of 55. Hope you try it out AND get a whooshie!!! Mom's Cheese Quiche 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise 1/2 Cup Cream 4 Eggs 1.5 Tbs Parsley 16 oz. Cheese (grated) Mix the cream and mayonnaise. Add the eggs and parsley to the cream/mayo mix. Grease a pie plate really well with butter. Line the bottom of the pie plate with the grated cheese. Pout mayo mix over cheese, make sure everything is covered evenly. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. So tasty!! You can add meat to this and veggies too! |

| Hi Vanessa and Irishmom... Those recipes look tasty. We have had hamburger patties for 100 million nights in a row now. I suppose I could go for a "bun." =)
