| LOL Bill! Funny guy! Yeah..I guess in the interest of self-preservation you best leave the scale alone. (((Andie))) don't stay away so long! Good for you for being strong and having a good time with family..both sides!! Not to worry...my kids never miss me either...I prefer to think that it is because they are secure enough to know I will always be here.

| OMG Valleriek! I just bought a bike Saturday and I love it! I got up at 5:30 this morning to get a couple miles in (I was sucking wind). Doing it early means the kids are asleep and I can "sneak" a ride w/o them. AND I woke up this morning to a 2-pound loss. I knew I needed to change up my exercise and the bike seems to be the ticket. Congrats to your Bf! That is a great accomplishment! Andiepie81 - I use and love the Walk Away the Pounds DVD. Okay, when I say love I mean I love the results I get from using it. I do get tired of the same chitchat of the participants. Sometimes I even mute it and watch their feet to see how fast I should be going. LOL! I have been using it since March and have had success with the weight loss so I would recommend them. |

| good morning everyone, sorry i didn't check in yesterday, got some much needed rest and then DH and i got out and ran around for a while, just didn't have time to check in. i'm doing ok food and water wise, still making good choices, even though some days i'm still under 20 grams of net carbs. i'm really trying hard to get in my veggies. it's just some days i can't seem to break 20 net carbs. tomorrow is the start of a new rung, fruits. i bought a watermelon, and am really looking forward to cutting into it. that is my first fruit of choice to add back in, next week i think it will be strawberries. i have some unsweetened baker's chocolate and plan on making some chocolate covered strawberries with it. i'll only use a small piece of chocolate at t time, sweeten it with splenda and use a double boiler to melt it. i'll probably stay on the fruit rung for several weeks, then when i'm ready i will go back to add in the nut ring. then i will probably stay at those rungs for quite a while again. not a big drinker so the next rung (alcohol and spirits) will not be a big deal for me, i will probably skip that rung and go to the legumes rung, by that time, it will be football season and time for our weekly chili on sunday for the big game.....i'm a huge football fan, so fall and winter are my favorite times of the year as far as sports go. yesterday, i aquired a bike. i was getting ready to buy a bike at walmart, and notice the one i wanted was not assembled correctly and the rim was bent so we put it back on the shelf. just as we were getting ready to leave with no bike, we ran into DH's aunt and uncle. they said their daughter had gotten a new bike and had planned on getting rid of her old one. so we ran over to their house and picked it up last night. my DH already had one, and we had talked for years about getting me one so we could take biking up, but just never had. there are some great bike paths close to our home, so i'm really looking forward to checking them out. well, gotta go get ready to go see my mom this morning. she just got back from vacation late last night and i haven't seen her for a week. hopefully we will get our bikes out and go for a ride tonight, DH will probably have to get new tires for his bike, but once that's done, we should be ready to roll. |

| Live....Isn't that motivating when people start to notice! Especially so soon! Your inches must be sneaking off! 15 miles?? Keep it up! Andie..I say if the Walking DVD helps you to move then I am all for it! You go girl! Val....Yah for BF! That is great. He wouldn't have been able to do it without you! Take pride in that. You are taking great care of your family. Do you have a freecycle in your area?? It is a yahoo group that people can post stuff they want to find a new home for free and after you post something to give away you can ask for something. Like a recycling group. Anyway...you might be able to find one of those baby trailers that go behind the bike for baby. And some bike seats for the kids. Then you can all go and you have the added benefit of added weight to peddle. I have given and gotten lots of stuff off of it...matteresses...TV stand...computer desks..couches. All sorts of stuff. Treece...way to go to changing up the exercise and finding what works for your body...and for finding a way to fit it in! 19 pounds from goal...WOW!! Congrats on the 2 pound loss...that is awesome being so close to goal!! Monie...good score on the bike. Look at you a third of the way to your goal! I am loving the dairy rung. I have be a homemade protein shake and some ricotta with cream in the morning. I love that ricotta!! Bet you it is going to taste even better with some strawberries or raspberries in it. So seems like this is bike week! I haven't riden in years. Last time I did I was being a smart alex and was going to kick DS in the butt as I was riding by...but he zigged instead of zagged and I crashed big time. Road rash and blood on my hands and knees..wrecked my pants. I couldn't stop laughing it hurt so bad but I kept imagining how funny it must have looked in my head. And my butt was sore from the seat for days! Felt very bruised. Anyway...road rash hurt just like I remembered from being a kid...LOL! Be a good day everyone!

| Afternoon all. Daily checkin here. No, Elsie, I didnt reweigh yet. Not obsessed with me scale and also been forgeting to do so in the AM before I have me breakfast and coffee. Want to get a "true" weight on an empty stomach. Everything is, honest to God, going GREAT!! Made it through the holidays without any kind of temptation and/or cheats. Put on a new uniform this morning and I fit into a size 46 pants comfortably. Was up to a size 52(OUCH!!!) three (3) months ago. So I'll take it. Otherwise life is good and looking forward to another cheat free, weight and inches losing week. I may start doing some kind of exercise this week. Perhaps a light cardio. Dunno. But I do know I might be so much further ahead weight loss wise. But a loss is still a loss and so long that each and every week goes by and me scale keeps going down, well then I am more than satisfied. Happy losing. God Bless, Joe |

| Hi everyone. Sounds like you are all doing well. I was exhausted today for absolutely no reason. I got plenty of sleep and ended up falling back asleep in the middle of the day anyway. Oh well. I love my new body fat scale. Its nice to have a new way to check my progress. Elsie - That's so funny. I was going to say that the last time I rode a bike I flipped over and landed on my face and I had road rash all oer my face and hands for my college graduation, LOL . good luck to everyone else with their bikes though.

| Hi ya all...a quiet day here isn't it?? Joe...I only asked because you mentioned getting below 40 pounds. Great job on the smaller pants. That is a huge difference. Pretty soon you will be chasing your girls around. Vanessa...your body just must be needing some more rest today for some reason. Anyhow...will try to check in again later...hope everyone is doing well.
