| i totally agree that you should go ahead and start exercising now. nothing too hard, but atleast to something. i've also done this "diet" before with no exercise at all, and i was definately the skinny fat person. this time around, within the first couple days, i started adding just a few exercises in. i'd go for a walk, and maybe do 15 or 20 ab crunches. then i increased my walk after a few days, started doing more crunches and added squats to my routine. tried to do a push up and when i realized i could actually do one, added a few more each day. then i joined some exercise challenges on the board and that also helped tremendously. i added a stability ball to my exercising too. i aquired a bike last weekend, started riding a bike this week for the first time in years. tonight DH and i went for a 5 mile bike ride. like someone already said, you have to find things that you won't get bored doing, and change it up often. DH and i have even went to batting cages while we were out running around town, just so i could get some form of exercise in. the best part about exercising, is the way my body has morphed itsself. i'm only down 19 lbs, but am already fitting into clothes that i couldn't wear until i had lost much more without doing any exercise. i honestly can't believe how much my body has changed this time by exercising. this is just my story and my opinion as far as exercising goes. whatever you decide, when you do start to exercise, just take it slowly and try to change it up before you get too bored with what you are doing. good luck and happy losing to you. monie

| I'm of the "do what you can while you get through induction" school of thought- and then it's non-negotiable. Even if all you do is walk, get some done, but your primary focus should be eating during induction. That's not an excuse to just avoid the exercise or not make an real effort to do it during that time though! I've never come across a Beach Body program I didn't love. They're all incredible! I hope you get the same kind of mileage out of the workouts that I always have!
