According to the linked article above, niacin occurs naturally in dairy, poultry and lean meats. Interesting. If so, then why would a low carb follower need a supplement? Guess I'll just stick to the new eating plan and pass on the sucrose supplement!

| If you use fitday you should be able to check if you are lacking in any particular vitamins by looking at the reports section. I never looked for niacin but just cjecked and my intake is about right without any extra supplement. Apparently there was enough of it in the chicken breast, tomato, celery, mushroom & pork I ate.

| i am pretty sure sucrose is used in gel capsules which is why a lot of them contain sucrose.
