okay so my mom and i did this back in june-per her request. it was totally crazy. wrapped up like a mummy-and i mean TIGHT. you lightly keep your circulation going by using the gazelle gilder thing for a half hour. or hour..i don't remember. both my mom and i lost about 20 inches total...now that is like a 1/2 inch here, a 1/4 inch here. arms, legs, stomach, chin. they measure everywhere. we did it on a friday and had a wedding on saturday so we were looking for any results-even if temporary. i had fun with my mom, was pleased with the short term results, but i don't think i could swallow going back to pay full price for a session (i got 50% off the first time).

| The body wraps are generally more for detoxification than to actually loose inches, although, most poeple do report some loss. Often the loss is pure water and when you rehydrate the inches come right back. Good Luck, but enjoy pampering it is always nice.

i don't necessarily believe that they are dehydrating. we were weighed before and after the wrap, and did not lose any pounds. i would expect some water weight loss if that were the case.

Um yeah... and I would imagine the skin is smashed in due to the fact that you are being wrapped tight. Think about your tight skinny jeans and what they do to your waist. BB

yeah. think about when you wear tall tight socks all day (like skiing) and you take them off and your calf is like 2 inches smaller where the sock was than above it.

My friend did this, they had her suck on a green jolly rancher, and she said the water was green that came off. it is just water weight. Comes right back. She said it wasn't worth the money.
