| It might be the potassium in the Zero that is helping quieten things for you. As Tom asked - are you taking any supplements to replenish what you are losing (Atkins is a diuretic way of eating and you might be short of electolytes)?

| both sorbitol and manitol, artificial sweeteners case me to have the same symptoms. Literally it would feel like my heart was beating in my ears. Aspartame does not cause this to happen. What is the sweetener in the thing you are drinking? is it possible you are addicted to that sweetener? Weird... and yes if it persists... go to the doctor... you never fool around with heart things. Let us know if you are feeling better. Kathy |

| I had this happen once and called my Dr. at 7:00 am worried to death. He brought me in and gave me an EKG. I was fine. Come to find out it was the sweetner and caffeine in my sugar free koolaid. BUT going to the Dr. will let you know for sure. Hope to hear good news from you soon!
