| Very true Elsie, I should have skipped the whole thing though since it was honey ham! I really just felt I needed the energy/fuel. However, it won't happen again and I've set my mom straight LOL. Also, *shakes tush* we went and picked up the 2002 edition. 15 lbs -- in a month, reasonable?! Wow, I thought I was wayyy over doing it! That makes me even more encouraged to do it (induction for the whole month of course) Tonight for dinner we had Chilli. It was a one Elsie had recommended here. (Chili recipes and Cheesecake recipes pls) (Stick To Your Ribs Chili) I don't think we were supposed to have it b/c of the tomato sauce now b/c of Elsie's comment of no tomato juice? Can somebody clue me in? Ohhh boy... @_@ I know I need to read the book tonight. I will. It's just frustrating as I had thought all the recipes we collected were induction friendly. Tomorrow's a new day.

BigS--I gained the second week --and lost 3rd week--don't worry!as you go up the rungs--you may stall or minor gain--then lose again! your body and metabolism takes time to adjust--But it will! some weeks pounds some inch's--carry a tape! as long as it's either--Yahoo! I just finished my 2nd month and still climbing the rungs and still losing one or the other...

| Hey bill-buddy! P.S. Um that fitday site says that a single onion (vedalia) is 21g carbs sauted with 3g fiber so that's 19g net carbs? IS THAT RIGHT? (I know we can have 1 c. of onion - raw before cooked it's on the list so that's why the carb amount seems way off?)

| Hi new buddies!! Elsie, I did pass up the bagels. Actually, my boss brought them and left them in the pantry, not the conference room, which was good. Surprisingly, no one brought them into the meeting. DH surprised me this evening. When I got home, I did my workout. Then we had dinner. After dinner, DH said he wanted to go for a walk, and we walked for about an hour. He said "Well that wasn't so bad. Let's do it again tomorrow." YAY DH! I'm really proud of him and his suggestion. Now it's time to get back to Project Runway...

| Joe, pickles for what? Snack or in chili? LOL Caramella, that's so great DH is getting involved! Your encouragement to each other and positive attitude will go a long way. Does anyone know if it was okay or not to have the chili?? Or if it was a complete waste and I must restart induction tomorrow?

| hello everyone!! it's been a long day at work for me, i'm pretty tired and still need to get some exercise in for the night, but wanted to stop in and say hello. especially since it's been a couple days since i've posted in here. welcome to all the new buddies in the group. brittni- if you followed the chili recipe in the never ending induction recipe forum, than yes the chili is fine. you are allowed tomatoes on induction. i seriously hope you didn't throw those onions out, you could still use them, but in smaller portions since they are a little high in carbs. i eat onions in just about everything i fix. hope everyone has a good evening, gotta go get some exercises done. good night monie |
