| Afternoon Everybody: I had a successful weekend and have been doing good so far today - no temptations. Just finished a nice big salad with some chicken. Had to take my car to the shop though (belts). So, in the last 30 days I've had to repair the car, the dryer, the air conditioner, and replace the refridgerator. We're just wating for the water heater to explode! Robin - I don't have many snack ideas, my default snacks are string cheese and pepperoni slices. Hope everybody's having a good day. Let's all stay strong! |

| Hey all, just checking in here. All is great. Robin I have a suggestion for you and it's me fave, sunflower seeds. Hope everyone is staying true and is strong enough to resist temptations. I feel absolutely wonderful, honestly I do. I wish I had found and done this diet sooner and recommend it to all me fat buddies. Some say they cant but if they only knew how easy it was, once you apply yourself. Allright, here's to another week of losing. God Bless,Joe |

| Day 8 Induction Feeling pretty good. Still stewing over my discovery that I needed to check for sugar in the ingredients instead of just counting the carbs. It is even in Beef Jerky and Bacon which has 0 carbs.... I have to buy new groceries ! Still lost 10lbs the first week of induction though !

| Happy Monday!! It's Day 15 for us, and we decided to stay on induction for 2 more weeks before we get on the scale and move onto OWL. DH said he was really proud of me, while I was playing on my Wii Fit (I love it!) As for snack suggestions, I don't really have anything new to add. During the work week, I usually bring just some pepperoni and cheese. However, I need to find something new to take for snack at work for a change of pace. Mike - Sorry to hear about all of the repair work. Chase - Great job on the 10lb loss! |

| Hi everyone. I was hoping to join your buddy list, even though I am still in induction. Today is day 8. While the other threads like induction are helpful and fantastic, it's hard to always find the same people without playing "thread tag". I thought this list sounded like a great way to check in and chat with the same people. Elsie, I have to tell you, your thread you started for induction friendly TNT recipies has been the reason I have been able to stick to induction. I would have NEVER thought that you could do so many things with the induction foods. The oopsie rolls have been great. For lunch I can have an oopsie roll turkey sandwich with mayo, turkey, tomato and lettuce and I am in heaven! I'm headed to the kitchen as we speak to try the zuchinni chips. We have a huge garden and so have lots of fresh veggies to use, and zuchinni right now is just ready to pick. Enjoy your evening everyone! Jen |

| Mike...sounds like the gremlins are visiting you as well. the internet guy is supposed to come tomorrow..I hope it is early. So much trouble getting here today. Glad you are doing well now! Joe...Robin is in induction so no nuts for her yet. Good to see you checking in though! Robin..ya got that? No sunflower seeds until the nut rung. chasesigi...10 pounds in one week is awesome. carmella...well as long as you are planning on moving on in 2 weeks I won't bug you. But am going to look for a great post by not2late about those that stay on extended induction for a long period...most are not successful in the long run. Jen...welcome aboard. We have lots of inductees on here so just jump right in. Thank you so much for your comments about the recipe thread. I was really hoping it would help people out and it is really really nice to hear it!! If you try something new feel free to post it. Looking forward to more posts from you. Okay...going to go see if I can answer a few more things before I get booted off again!

| Evening all! Thanks Elsie..though when I read that I was like "Whoah really? Sweet..." but yeah I know...no nuts I know this is going to sound very common for everyone..but I decided to stay on the induction phase for another week. I think I had a few slip ups during the week (ie, atkins snack bars and chewing gum that wasn't sugar free) and I want to have a good two weeks down where I am watching everything I put into my mouth. I know another few reasons why I am not seeing a HUGE loss ...I have been eating more cheese than I was supposed to. Counting the carbs from that seemed to be the easiest thing possible..but I was eating cheese with each meal and then having some for snacks....that's why I asked about snacks on here because I wanted to do something else other than cheese. I love pepperoni though! Thanks for all the suggestions! |

| Robin..just watch the pepperoni...it is high in sodium so can cause water retention...don't eat too much before weigh day.
