| Net carbs = total carbs - fiber grams - sugar alcohols So if something has 4 total carbs and 2 fiber grams, the net carbs will be 2.

| Personally, I don't subtract sugar alcohols. I've been burned a couple times by doing that. Breyers ice cream being one example. Thought I was having like 4 carbs I believe it was and found out it was actually 10.. And I could tell it the next day b/c my sugar was WAY OFF and I stalled immediately
