Mosquito querie

Hi all I have just returned from two weeks in Tunisia where i have been eaten alive by mosquitoes Nobody else in our party of ten got bitten and i had 30 bites!!!
It occurred to me that it could be something to do with being on atkins and the smell that being in ketosis gives off. So if anyone else has had a similar experience or can shine a light on this any ideas would be greatly received.
Thought i should mention that I go to north africa every year and have never been bitten once. this is the first trip there since starting atkins in January.

Just an idea, do the others smoke and you not? Mosquitoes love me and usually dont touch my wife. Shes a smoker.

Funny, I live right on the water and this year is the first year that I have not been eaten alive by the little buggars. I still have a few bites here and there, but no where near the last couple of years. Were you wearing any perfume? or have you changed shampoo? Don't know, sorry. Vinager helps relieve the itch. Next time try some lavender, tea tree oil and citro mix (small amount of each in a bottle of water )

Did you cut back your consumption of garlic?
