| yeah, I'm looking forward to that. I hope it's forever. Unfortunately I've been in this situation before. I've lost as much as 40 pounds and been on plan for as long as 4 months, but still slipped and gained it all back. Not sure I'll ever feel "safe." Participating in the forums has made a big difference this time around. Just having this group to commiserate with and to cheer me on has made a world of difference. |

| mike...I am in the same boat...only I followed it for 7 months and lost 60 pounds...no cheats...before I fell off...mostly due to slacking off on keeping track and some head games with myself. I think it is better not to feel 'safe'...that will help to keep us on our toes! There are quite a few people on the boards that even though they are at or very near goal they are still here helping others and I think, in turn, themselves.

| Mike, maybe it's good to not feel safe -- as in to worry that the weight might come back because it very well can if you don't stay on track. But you can turn that unsafe feeling into perseverance towards your goal and making sure this is a LIFESTYLE CHANGE!!! Just checking in to say hi to everyone!!! LOL @ your silliness. Probably going to do a little stability ball exercises tonight but that's it. I hit the gym up for 1 1/2 hrs last night doing weights and whatnot plus tomorrow is personal training. It is only 6:30 though....could talk mom into going....still be home by 9 for our show, The Mole! Finale tonight... Off to debate

| Evening all! Today was a horrible day for me. I haven't been feeling too well the past couple of days. I persisted though--DH and I went to the gym and did our workout stuff. I have myself doing 16 minutes on the treadmill (last week it was 15) and 6 minutes on the stationary bike (last week it was 5). We fooled around on the stairmasters but I have yet to figure out how people use them...I tend to fall over. We had lunch (my breakfast..because I usually eat after working out) and after I ate..I felt really sick. My stomach kept having these cramps and I would just double over in pain. I went to work though, can't miss out on that fun! My pharmacist bought me a diet coke tonight because we were running around like mad and I felt myself fading. I sit now typing and eating my second meal of the day. I've had a total of probably 6 to 7 carbs today. I really feel bad about that..I am drinking water right now too. I just wish this feeling would pass..as it is, I am forcing myself to eat. Tomorrow is a different day..hope things look brighter. Night, night! |

| Hmmm--don't ever remember anyone this sick... think we need to refer to our "Book" You should see your Doctor-- "THE BEFORE YOU BEGIN" chapter 10 should have been followed your Doctor will check your kidney's: Review any Med's your taking: will perform a complete physical: you will get your blood chemistries and lipid levels measured and he will do a glucose-tolerance test nothing like having your Doc's assurance that your going to be O.K.!!
