| It's very possibly a bad scale, especially since you say your hubby is up and down on it too. Get a new one and see what happens... BUt, just to be safe, post a typical day's menu just to make sure that what you think is right, is a good Atkins day. Don't fret it, if you're doing Atkins right, you'll be fine. Let's just hope it's a bad scale. Have you been getting exercise in too? It's important... Best to you, and good luck in your atkins journey. Rick |

| It could be TOM. Some of us bloat and 5 pounds is a distinct possibility. But posting the menu is a good idea anyways.

| i can gain up to 9lbs or lose that many in 1 day all depending on water weight- however, sounds like you do need a new scale! |

| ok--Relax! remember your body's are going thru some pretty intense changes--it will hold on to some food, and/or water then dump it...I--like your Husband-- was all over the place-- first week loss, second week gain third week loss--always seemed like the same 6 pounds!? I was drinking a gallon a day too!then I weighed the gallon of water--ahhh that's it--just took time for my body to adjust--celebrated my 2 months in..and everything is proceeding as it should-- Have your tape handy too--some weeks weight--some inch's--some both--loss is loss!
