Absolutely.. Except you did it better than I would have. Especially after learning about the cottage cheese in the egg casserole. I would have GONE for it LoL Last time I did Atkins clean for about 4 months, I ate a lot of sausage, assuming they were safe. Wasn't till I stalled and started reading labels that, as Sallyseachange would kindly tell you, there is "a lot of rubbish in sausage" unless you specifically get no-sugar, low-carb, etc. Doesn't stop me from eating sausage once in a while. Especially the brat-like ones. Just make sure you drink extra water today to flush your system and go about as usual. I find that makes ME feel better when I find I've eaten something with corn syrup in it. Kudos to you for being prepared and bringing oopsie rolls and avoiding temptation!!!

I feel for you .. this has happened to me. My will power has really been tested since the start of this thing! It seems as if the world knows i'm follwing the atkins plan. Day 1 of induction - mean boss decides to be nice and bring bagels for everyone. Day 3 - Co-workers birthday! Ice Cream Cake from Cold Stone. Day 7 - Krispy Kreme donuts during office meeting. I am obviously not reaching for the donuts and people keep saying " Get a donut" or " You sure you don't want one". That's why this site is so helpful. When I get tempted I log on and read. You should be proud that you did not reach for a pancake! Good Job!

| Well as you already know hubs, but not everyone else...work has NEVER done anything food related for us....that is until I can't eat it. Day 3 into induction: Krispy Kremes and juice for everyone(like we're 3 years old)! yay! No I don't think so...I didn't touch one, the thought of having to start induction over really scares me...lol. Day 6 into induction: "Oh there's lunch for everyone in the kitchen" I say "Oh what is it?" They say "Tortilini in meat sauce and french bread". How nice of my boss, huh? And no I still didnt partake. And yesterday, Day 10 of induction: Platters of pita bread stuffed with chicken salad, fresh fruit, cookies(chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter, raspberry with white chocolate chunks and white chocolate macadamia nut), Hummus and chips. A veggie platter of tomatoes and carrots with multiple dipping sauces. And tons of soda. Oh how lovely my %&*#$!@ job is. Again I opted out. Every single time I said the same thing, thank you but no I cannot eat any of this. I got the same responce "Why?" "You can have a little something." "It'll be your cheat day!" Wrong wrong wrong! I don't get cheat days. "What, you can't have a cheat day? I don't understand what do you eat?" So I explain. "Oh no I could never do that, I love bread/ice cream/fresh fruit/pizza too too much." So I say, "well it's not for everyone, it is tough the first couple of days, but it gets better. And eventually you can have whole grains again." "I did notice you looked slimmer." "Oh yeah? Thanks a lot."

I feel you tink. They are not the ones that have to suffer with going shopping and not being able to fit the clothes you want or huffing and puffing up a flight of stairs! "This can be your cheat day" WHATEVER!

Yes. It's a lesson learned though, right? Stop banging your head against the brick wall ( ) and realize it's an honest mistake. What I learned after my situations is not only to buy my own products or really read the ingredients list, but to not assume that all foods are safe because they can be categorized as a safe food. Now, I'm that person in the grocery aisle who's kids are running amok because their mom has been reading each and every label for the past hour....on hot dogs alone LOL!It's one day, keep your chin up and keep going strong from here on out!
