| im hoping its just water weight, im gonna drink a ton of water today.. Id love to keep off the scales but i find they actually keep me more motivated.. I have been losing 2.2lbs a day almost, and thats how it was a few years ago for me... I actually think i know what i did wrong now, I think it was the milk Added.. Silly me forgot that we aint allowed to have milk on induction.. Does anyone know what i should use for my omlettes instead of milk?? Would water do?? thanks for reply |

| I always use water for scrambled eggs......can't taste any difference. I don't have any problem staying off the scales. I've become addicted to trying clothes on everyday. I can't believe I'm fitting into my smaller clothes that had long been put away. Good luck to you! Jo |

| you could use a little heavy cream in your eggs....you might want to add a little water to it to make it more the consistancy of milk, but heavy cream would work beautifully in eggs. heavy cream is allowed, but is limited to 2 or 3 tablespoons a day on induction.

| You're correct about the milk. You're not supposed to have it on Induction, you're also not supposed to have any beans on induction, that's for later in OWL. Water works well for omelets as does heavy cream, just be careful with the amount. Do you have the book? You really should read the book and follow it closely. I've restarted atkins for the millionth time and this time around I'm being very strict (no sweeteners, eating my veggies, small amount of cheese, no cream, etc.) and I've lost 7 lbs. in 7 days. I have never lost that fast. It really pays off to go buy the book and follow it word for word. Good luck. |

| she might mean green beans? I use water in omelettes, always. I have never used milk. Toss some mushrooms or some pico de gallo in that omelette and you get some of your daily veggies too!

| Yeah, I don't even add water... just eggs and whatever else I want to add... mushrooms, cheese, ham, bacon or whatever. Skip the milk for sure for now. You may be able to add it in later. I thought the same thing on beans... some are ok, such as green beans, others aren't... I'm expecting really that the gain wasn't because of the omelet. Just day to day fluctuations. Don't weigh every day...and always expect positive (negative on the scale) results. |
