| Yes. Sodium can stall weight-loss and you can retain water. My suggestion is keep up with your water in-take (I average about 3-4 liters a day) and workout! Atkins said that exercise is a non-negotiable and also gets rid of toxics and extra water weight. I also use Also-Salt which is a "fake salt" with 0 sodium when I salt my foods and it tastes exactly like real salt. Other than that - if you notice that your amount of sodium is stalling you than cut back.
