| Nope, gotta be burning body fat to see the stick turn. Ketones in the urine are a byproduct of burning body fat, not food fat. It takes a day or two or three of eating low-carb to get the stick to turn when you just start out, cause your body has to use up its glycol stores before it will start burning body fat. GBM
