| Well both green and black olives have massive amounts of sodium in them so ya, that can definitely make you retain water if you eat too many of them. I only eat them occasionally and havent had any problems.

| I think that if you stick to having them as an occasional addition to your menus like the other foods in the 'special category list' you should not have a problem. I only use a few of them as additions to recipes or as a garnish sprinkled over salads rather than eating them as snacks as I know I could easily overdo them and eat more than the limit.
