| I know it is hard, it is like a downward spiral - trust me I have been there. But you just have to get back on track. Take it one day at a time and put a big x on the calendar when you succeed. Be committed and try your darndest to stay true to yourself. You are the only one that can control what goes into your mouth. Do you really want that next bag of chips, doughnuts, candy...or do you want to be slim and have a knockout bod? It is either the doughnut or the body...it is your choice. I will be your shoulder if you need me to be. I know where you are coming from. We can do it together.

| When I've had a big enough cheat that I've triggered the carb monster (translation, to get the vicious cycle of the carb-crazies again), I've got to get myself back on strict induction and go through the breaking of the carb monster all over again. I keep reminding myself that if I can bear it for 2-4 days, then I already know from past experience that my body will stop that unbearable craving for carbs. I know it feels like you've failed, I've sure been there done that. But if I look at the cheat with analytical eyes, sometimes it gives me insight on what triggered the cheat, so I'll know how to get myself away from that slippery-slope next time. More often than not, I'll find mine is from some emotional upset or stressor that I have to learn a new coping skill to handle next time. Hang in there. GBM

| Don't give up if you know what you want to do, know how you're going to get to your goal, and know what your commitment is. And don't beat yourself up over a slip. You have enough things in life to be concerned about. Refocus, get your game plan on how you're going to tell yourself what you're choosing to eat and do instead of what you "can't have". You can do it!
