Default Any "bread-like" snack?

I am just in that mood to have a toasted piece of bread... I am trying SO hard not to have a low-carb bread slice (am in Week 5 of Induction).

Is there ANYthing that is similar to the crispy crunch where I can put a pat of butter on top?

You can toast revolution rolls. The recipe for them is in this thread http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...pes-added.html (Induction Recipe Basics--More recipes added)

why not go to owl and make a muffin in a minute? 5 weeks of induction is enough. you can make the muffin in a minute on induction though, just reduce the flax seed to 2 tablespoons

Thanks for the muffin recipe, but I didn't think I was allowed flaxseed in Induction?

I can vouch for the revolution rolls. I just tried them yesterday and they're very good!

Pork rinds are my saviour... I make egg salad or chicken salad...and use pork rinds to dip into them... I really missed the crunch too... I like them with butter too.

you can have flax seed but you are supposed to limit it to a couple of tablespoons a day. 1/4 cut as the recipe calls for is actually 3 tablespoons. I ate them all through induction but used a little less then 1/4 cup flaxmeal
