| High protein diets are hard on kidneys. Atkins is NOT a high protein diet. Other than that, I don't feel comfortable advising on medical matters. But I will wish you a speedy recovery!

| Thanks!!! I am gonna do a very lax version of it, and do some yogurt so that I do not get a MAD Raging (other infection)...

| I've had a UTI while doing this woe and it caused me no issues... It's a good idea to take a probiotic suppliment as well when taking antibiotics.

| don't do a lax version... I have had the same issue and took cranberry pills and things cleared up just fine... I agree.. this is not a high protien diet... and drinking lots of water will help too. Congrats on your hard work so far! Kath |

Probiotic suppliments can be bought at any drug store, they should be kept in the fridge after opening as well. they are the 'good' bacteria that you find in yogurt, if you take them you shouldn't need to add yogurt to your diet. This should help avoid any yeast issues that you might get from the antibiotics.
