| I had looked at that myself. Thanks for the bottoms down so to speak. Hope you feel better quickly!!! Is green tea an okay thing to drink on Atkins? If so is there a limit? I have to tell you I really miss my tea.

| Well there's nothing in green tea that isn't legal, so long as you you're making it from the tea bags and not buying it in a store. If you're buying it in a store then you have to make sure that A.) it's sweetened with splenda or B.) that there's no real sugar in the front of the list of ingredients in the product. However, green tea DOES have caffiene in it which can cause blood spikes in sugar. Personally I've never experienced a stall from caffiene, but I've never really measured myself to see if it affects my weight loss either. I still lose just fine with it. So perhaps if you're really missing tea, and you want to stay true, you should try using herbal tea Edit: To answer your question about limits --- As long as it's not sweetened, you can have unlimited amount I suppose. What is it, really? It's just water that's been flavored by herb extract. However, it is sweetened, your max limit on sweetners for induction is limited to 3 I believe, and so it'd only be 3 servings you're allowed to have.

| I thought I read that decaf tea has carbs in it due to the decaffeinating process. I know that regular decaf tea says it has 1 carb per teabag. I'm going to go and check out the Lipton Green Tea decaf and the hazelnut herbal.
