Ladies only!!!! To women who have lost alot of weight.

This is a little embarassing. But since I started the atkins I have lost alot of weight went from 274 to now 239 I was curious if any of the women here who have lost alot of weight could tell me if uh.. If maybe there breasts have gotten any smaller or maybe less fatty. These are a major problem for me as mine are sooo big!! And I know its a silly question but I am soo curious. I hope so.

That seems to be the only place I am loosing. I was a triple D and now there is significant gap in my bra. Seems to be the first to go.

For me ... When i loose weight .. i loose it all over so yes i think as your body gets smaller, so will your breasts...

Oh, my goodness! I've had the exact opposite. My band size has gone down, but it's like my actual breasts are bigger now. I had to go shopping and went from a 38B to a 36D. However, I'm in induction, but I have to say that region of my body (the chest area) is losing proportionately faster and more than the rest of my body.

It seems like most of us (myself included) lose some breast weight along with fat from other parts of the body. After losing 40 pounds I have gone from a 40D to a 36D and the girls are definitely smaller. A woman in Dillard's told me that the "D" cups on a 36D ARE smaller than the "D" cups on a 40D. Never knew that but according to her the CUP size of a 36D are equivalent to a 38C or a 40B. Before I gained weight in my 40's, I wore a 36B/C for about 25 years.

Now, some women just have large breasts regardless of body weight. This is mostly a product of heredity. If your mom/sisters have large breasts also and weigh less than you then it may be that in your case you may not lose a lot of breast mass. I knew a girl in nursing school who only weighed 130 and wore a size 34F--she was miserable and actually had a reduction to relieve back pain, shoulder pain and self consciousness. Sometimes breasts can also get larger in you are on any type of hormonal contraceptives. Everyone is different

I lost 120 pounds and the girls got bigger! I had a breast reduction in 1989 and last October I had another one. Dumb man doctor left me a DD. I do not want to be a DD.

Large breasts run in my family. My poor daughter weighed between 85 to 95 pounds, but had to get bras special made. She was only 26 inches around her rib cage and wore an F cup. She was always embarrased, so she would wear two very tight sports bras and then wear very large shirts or sweaters over that to disguise her chest.

I went from a 42DD to a 36D after a 120 lb weight loss. The girls are smaller which I don't mind a bit.
I'm "on the lose" again now and they are shrinking a bit more. Looks like C cups are on the horizon.
