| It depends on how much weight you have to lose. If you are close to goal, you should start moving up the rungs. If not, I would say continue induction. Possibly your gain is just water weight which will disappear in a few days. That could be caused by too much salt or it could be that time of month. Just don't let it discourage you because if you are on plan, the weight has to come off. Patience is your best friend right now. We are here for you so keep trying. |

| Is TOM (time of month) coming in the next week or few days? If so you can credit that for the water weight gain, it could also be a high sodium day that could cause it as well. As blueberry lady says it's also going to depend on how close you are to your goal. Even if you still have alot to lose however, I still recommend moving onto OWL, especially if you find your food choices limited. Remember the O in OWL stands for Ongoing.

| How long is water weight or sodium weight supposed to stay around? How will I know if it is one of those two, or real weight? |

| abbey if you only have 20 to lose.. yes you should move up the rungs.. drink more water.. if its salt it will flush itself out.. if its TOM then you may be up those 3 lbs for a week or more.. dont get discouraged... if you are doing everything right then after TOM you may be suprised to be down 5 or so .. dont give up just keep on keeping on.. and since you only have 20 to lose.. your body may just be getting used to losing and needs to adjust... it will happen.. dont you worry ! |
