| I read someones post a couple days ago that said they tried it but gained some of the weight back when they went back to induction. I think if you do it spend a few days getting yourself back into induction so maybe you wont gain the weight back. Maybe add a cup of veges back each day for the 3 days after. You could also just try to cut back on your protein and up your fat for a couple days.

Here's the FAQ about the Fat Fast: (Who should do the Fat Fast?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/37419-who-should-do-fat-fast.html It would be better if you were to look over your food diary, check the amounts of the foods you are eating, check how much water you are drinking, re-calculate the number of carbs you are eating, and checking your daily exercise routine rather than to do something that isn't appropriate for you.

| I just had a baby and that is the weight I lost immediately after having her...that was not from Atkin's I lost that weight within the first month without doing anything....I was breastfeeding and I didn't want to start back on Atkin's until I quit breastfeeding. I believe I lost that weight from breastfeeding because as soon as I quit breastfeeding my weight loss stopped. So after about a few weeks of nothing, I decided it was time to go back to Atkin's and I never lost any weight on induction...and haven't lost any since... so I believe I am a candidate because it wasn't my body trying to lose weight before...it might have been fluids and other things affecting that sudden loss after the baby...

The other thing is, have you lost any inches since you started Atkins? According to Dr. Atkins, the loss of inches is more representative of fat loss than the scale measurement. The scales can be deceiving: if you lose a pound of fat, but retain a pound of water, the scale won't show that.
